# Offer leverage

OpenSea implements leverage limits on offers to manage risk when placing offers with wrapped ETH (WETH). These limits are as follows:

| Type              | Leverage Allowance |
| :---------------- | :----------------- |
| Item Offers       | 1000x              |
| Collection Offers | 1000x              |

Example: With 1 WETH balance, you can bid up to 1000 WETH. If your active, outstanding bids total 1000 WETH and you try to create another offer, OpenSea will error.
